Ethernet TCP/IP

Das Communication Interface führt den kompletten Datenaustausch selbstständig zwischen den Busteilnehmern und einem internen Prozessabbild aus. Dieses wird im Dual-port memory geführt und steht somit der Applikation direkt zur Verfügung. Zur Zeit ist das OPEN MODBUS/TCP-Protokoll als Application Layer verfügbar. Weitere Layer können nach Fertigstellung nachgeladen werden. Eine Implementierung eigener Protokolle auf TCP/IP-Basis ist mit Hilfe der Socket-basierten Programmierschnittstelle ebenfalls möglich. Zusätzlich können durch einen Web-Browser Informationen vom integrierten Web-Server abgerufen werden. Die Konfiguration erfolgt über den Systemkonfigurator SyCon® oder direkt durch die Anwenderapplikation. Diese wird auf den Baugruppen gespeichert.

netX based comX-Modules get their identity by loading an appropriate firmware file. The following real-time Ethernet protocols are supported: EtherCat, EtherNet/IP, Powerlink, Modbus IDA, PROFINET, SERCOS-III All stacks are implemented as slave type protocols and are executed on the comX-Module. Data exchange with the host application is carried out via a dual-port memory interface. The process data images are available directly via memory read and write functions. The comXModule features two RJ45 connectors for Ethernet.
