The PIO-48.PCI provides 48 channels of buffered drive digital I/O emulating 8255 mode zero, which can be utilized for PC based control and automation of equipment including sensors, switches, security control systems, and other industrial automation systems. Optional pull up resistors are available providing a known state power up condition.
The PIO-48.PCI board contain 6 groups of eight-bit I/O ports, configurable as inputs or outputs to suit the automation task. The mode of each of the ports is user selectable as inputs or outputs by simply writing a control word to the port register. This gives the user the ability to customize the combination of inputs and outputs as needed.
The low order port of the first bit can be set to generate an interrupt for status monitoring applications. A special factory configured interrupt feature allows the user to request conditional I/O combinations for interrupt generation. When the I/O combination occurs, a hardware interrupt is triggered.

The Sealevel Systems ACB 530 provides the PC with two high-speed Synch/Asynch links to devices requiring extremely high data rates. RS-530 is a replacement for RS-449 in telecom applications and defines a standard DB-25 pin-out. The ACB 530 is capable of RS-530, RS-422/485 or RS-449 (with optional cable) connections. The ACB 530 card has a maximum data rate in excess of 1 million bps. The ACB 530 supports simultaneous full duplex DMA transfer on both channels. The Sealevel ACB DOS Developer's Toolkit is included along with SeaMAC, DOS SDLC Media Access Control Driver, to shorten development time.
