PACPROJECTBAS PAC Project Basic

The PAC Project Software Suite from Opto 22 provides all the software you need for industrial automation, remote
monitoring, and data acquisition applications in any field. One of four components of the SNAP PAC System, PAC Project
software is fully integrated with SNAP PAC controllers, brains, and I/O, making it easy to understand, select, buy, and
apply an automation system for your needs.

Easy to use and suitable for projects from simple equipment management to full industrial control, PAC Project Basic
includes the following:

- PAC Control Basic, a full-featured, flowchart-based tool for developing control programs to run on SNAP PAC
controllers
- PAC Display Basic, for creating human-machine interfaces (HMIs) for operators and technicians to monitor and
interact with the SNAP PAC System
- PAC Manager, a utility program for configuring and maintaining SNAP PAC controllers, brains, and I/O

NOTE: If you need complex network architectures, redundant controllers, support for legacy Opto 22 FactoryFloor
systems, OPC communication, and database connectivity, see the PAC Project Professional Software Suite.

PAC Project Basic includes the following components:

- PAC Control Basic
- PAC Display Basic
- PAC Manager

Installation requirements:

- Computer with at least the minimum processor required for your version of Microsoft(R) Windows(R), and Ethernet
capability. Additional memory may be required for some configurations.
- Microsoft Windows 7 Professional (32-bit or 64-bit), Windows Vista(R) Business (32-bit), or Windows XP Professional (32-
bit, with SP2 or higher). Microsoft Windows server, 64-bit versions of Windows Vista and XP, and embedded operating
systems are not supported.
- VGA or higher resolution monitor (Super VGA recommended), minimum size 800x600 with small fonts.
- Mouse or other pointing device. Printer optional.
- Available hard disk space required: 124 MB
