The SNAP-AILC-2 input module works with 3 mV/V and 4 mV/V load cells as a load cell front end. Using a separate 24
VDC power source (purchased separately), the module provides isolated 10 VDC bridge excitation for up to four 350 ohm
or 415 ohm load cells.
 
The SNAP-AILC-2 is primarily used with high-quality 4 mV/V load cells to gather data from force measurement testing.
 
Part of the SNAP PAC System, the module mounts on a SNAP PAC rack with a SNAP PAC brain or rack-mounted
controller. Analog, digital, and serial I/O modules can all be on the same rack. Such an I/O unit is also well suited for PC-
based control or for use as intelligent remote I/O for an Allen-Bradley RSLogix PLC system, such as ControlLogix,
MicroLogix, or CompactLogix.
 
NOTE: In addtion to SNAP PAC brains and R-series controllers, this module also works with the following legacy brains, if
they have firmware version R6.1c or newer: SNAP-B3000-ENET, SNAP-ENET-S64, SNAP-UP1-ADS, and SNAP-UP1-M64.
