The RUAC MX is a host independent SCSI to SCSI mirroring controller. The RUAC MX provides 2 channel mirroring
- 5.25" half height form factor
- RAID 0 and RAID 1 support
- 3 channels - 1 host and 2 drive channels
- Single host SCSI ID and LUN per RUAC MX
- Multiple MX Controllers per SCSI bus
- SCSI 1 or SCSI 2 operation
- LCD control and diagnostic panel
- Drive failure alarm
- Supports "hot replacement" drives and enclosures
- Transparent background regeneration of failed drive
- Works with most standard SCSI drives
- 2 to 14 drives per RUAC MX
- Variable capacity depending on drive and operating mode
