Overview

Developers choose the AX/Developer package to create dynamic displays and place them in Visual Basic applications, HTML pages or any ActiveX container. AX/Developer is used widely to bring dynamic displays to the Internet or Intranet using Microsoft Internet Explorer.

The SL-GMSDraw Dynamic Graphic Editor is included with the AX/Developer package. Within the editor, over 50 different dynamic behaviors can be associated with a given object. SL-GMSDraw allows users to specify not only the graphic elements to be displayed, but also the dynamic behavior driven by data variables in the application. Dynamic behaviors can be implemented and tested within the editor prior to linking it with the complete application. Once embedded in an application, the SL-GMSRun-Time ActiveX Control manages all the dynamic graphics and user interface functions.

The SL-GMS Custom Editor is the powerful, customizable set of graphical editor functions on which the SL-GMSDraw Dynamic Graphic Editor is built. The Editor Customization Library facilitates the development of optimized editors with rich functionality. The ability to configure and customize the editor is extremely important to system integrators who often need to provide application specific editing interfaces for various properties of the graphical objects, including dynamic behaviors.
