The COMM+8.PCI provides the PC with eight RS-232 Asynch links for communication servers, terminals, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and other data collection devices. The onboard interrupt status port provides maximum Windows flexibility. The COMM+8 PCI includes the 16554 UART, providing a 16 byte FIFO to keep your data-com applications running error free. The 16954 UART, featuring a deep 128 byte FIFO is optional for high-speed applications. Windows 3.1x drivers are available for more than four COM ports. We include our Advanced COM drivers for Windows 95/98/NT providing IRQ sharing, Windows serial diagnostics, and other enhanced features.
