SEA-8008
I/O Interface
The PIO-24.PCI provides 24 channels of buffered drive digital I/O emulating 8255 mode
zero, which can be utilized for PC based control and automation of equipment including
sensors, switches, security control systems, and other industrial automation systems.
10K pull-up resistors are included. Optional values are available.
The PIO-24.PCI board contain 3 groups of eight-bit I/O ports, configurable as inputs
or outputs to suit the automation task. The mode of each of the ports is user selectable
as inputs or outputs by simply writing a control word to the port register. This gives
the user the ability to customize the combination of inputs and outputs as needed.
The low order port of the first bit can be set to generate an interrupt for status
monitoring applications. A special factory configured interrupt feature allows the user
to request conditional I/O combinations for interrupt generation. When the I/O
combination occurs, a hardware interrupt is triggered.
Need to simulate a relay rack connection? Order Part# TA01 to debug your control application and simplify installation. Our SeaI/O Family of Windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP and Linux Software drivers is included along with sample applications and utilities for rapid application development. |
